George Wilson

George Ameal Wilson, spent his formative years in Texas, where he developed his love for cowboys watching western movies with his grandmother. He is also fascinated with Native Americans. After moving to Los Angeles, he earning a B.A. in fine arts from Cal State Los Angeles. He had shows in Los Angeles, Denver, Tucson, Seattle, and Las Vegas. He recently moved to Nevada where he is still committed to his art. Some of his jury shows, Fairmont Hotel Denver Colorado 1980 Best of Show, Las Vegas Artist Guild Show Green Valley Library Best in Oils. He studied under Si Fountain for five years, he was also a student of Joseph Gibby for two years. Exhibits: Semantics Gallery, Edmonds Washington, Five Points Center, Denver Colorado, Wild Horse Gallery Moapa Valley, Nevada. Presentations: Prairie View College Prairie View, Texas.
