Fiona Scott-Brown

Scottish born artist, Fiona Scott-Brown was born in Saltcoats (ne. Hughes)in 1951, lived in Kilmarnock and attended the Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 1973. Fiona married ( Thorburn) and moved to Callander in Perthshire. Fiona returned to Ayrshire in 1987 when she took up a lecturing position at Ayr College. Having recently retired, Fiona is concentrating her energies on painting. She is presently working in Italy focussing on landscape and urban landscape painting. Her work is extremely colourful and vibrant and she concentrates on colour and texture. Fiona's main inspirations are of course, the Scottish Colourists.
