Victor Chaika

I was born in Belarus, in Minsk. Then I learned to walk. A little later I learned to dive to the depth with one breath. Then I got into the mountains and It became part of my home, as well as the depths of the seas and oceans. I started taking people to the mountains as a guide. I like to share with them the most that I have. Sometimes I teach someone to dive and together we enjoy the depth and beauty of the ocean. Then I learned to fly a paraglider, and the sky also became my home and necessity. Element. Wildlife. People. With whom we manage to share really big steps and dreams. Roads. Countries. Wild landscapes and adventures. I never thought what and how to draw or paint, and whether it is worth it. Since childhood.

My art is the result of spontaneous living. This is not an end in itself. This is an irresistible consequence.

I just draw and paint how I feel and need it. I don't want to be guided by styles and trends, become hostage to this or that technique or niche. I don’t want to look back at tradition, fashion and praise. I want to always remain honest with myself, people and Nature, the nature of everything.
