In addition to being a poet and practising artist, I was an arts professional committed to promoting the arts and facilitating access for all sectors of the community. As a figurative painter, I strive to create engaging images, borne out of traditional skills, that evoke aspects of contemporary life and its values: to make them intriguing and multi-layered with a poetic dimension, that others may recognise, relate to or query.

BA (Hons) Fine Art, Brighton University. MA Fine Art, Leeds Beckett University. To date have exhibited in many solo exhibitions and in various national shows as well as international shows in the US, Japan, Russia and South Africa.
