Jack Kenny

Kenny works as a commercial photography and operated a photo lab for 25 years. His creative escape has always been through his fine art nudes and documentary photography (centered primarily in Cuba). He is self-taught.

This non-commercial work has always been considered “personal work” and is in the primarily in hands of private collectors. He has had 2 major solo shows:

One in Havana where he was the first foreigner to have a show of photographis nudes in Cuba. He was invited to do this show after participating in an International Exhibition featuring 100 foreign photographer working with nudes (prior to this event photographic niudes were considered pornographic in Cuba). As the result of the 3 images he presented for the show he got his solo show invitation. In the show “Desnudos: Blanco Y Negro” he showed 60 pieces.

His second one-man show was entitled “Shooting Nudes and Other Stories” and consisted of a 70 piece retrospective of his work. Presented at the Liberal Arts Gallery in Detroit.

Kenny also works with graphic images and shoots street fashion a a hobby.

He is now offering his work to the general public through the Saatchi Art.
