Yoon Yeom

The peculiar color combinations present an unfamiliar image, making my work original and promoting a new sense of visual communication. I enjoy drawing and painting in a style that expresses my individual perspective; avoiding using the original colors and styles but instead transforming them into something that is no longer conventional. I get inspired from the places, people and objects that I have seen and felt while I travel as well as my surroundings in Los Angeles. I take these pedestrian objects and incorporate them into my artwork, and by using colors that one would not expect to see for these subjects, I turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
