My artistic journey began when I was only 15. I brought home a project from school to finish and my Nanna, who had been painting for years, was quite impressed. Only a few months later we were at a weekend painting class with Ken Harris. I went home with 4 completed paintings and was so uplifted by the creative weekend. The encouragement I received from my family and friends was so amazing and inspired me to continue into the art world.
I stocked my room full of supplies and would often set myself up on the driveway to paint. I painted on and off for the following 5 years until my family then moved down to the beautiful area of South Gippsland. Here, I eventually set up my own studio and dived into my painting, having a lovely space and plenty of room to explore my creativity!
In 2017 I had my first exhibitions in small country town galleries and at the beginning of 2018 I opened my very own gallery from home.
I have a diverse range of paintings and each style can reflect my mood and inspiration at the time. I also have many plans for the future and my artwork as I continue to experiment with many more styles, finding more and more creative processes that I simply fall in love with!
