Louise Bova

Louise Bova works with oil and/or acrylic paint on canvas, board or paper; with the addition of crayon, charcoal, pencil, marker and sometimes oil pastel or paint stick.

Ms. Bova uses the immediacy of abstraction as a way to express and release deep emotions. She loves laying down color and movement, and aims to convey a wide range of feelings, such as anger and sadness—embedded with love, joy and beauty. Often her works show a lyrical quality and sometimes a fleeting landscape.
