Stefan Rybkevych

In my work, I explore beauty across three interconnected dimensions: the beauty of God, the beauty of creation, and the beauty of human self-expression (when God’s creation also creates).

In my paintings, inspired by iconography, I reflect on the divine—light, faith, and spiritual presence. In landscapes and portraits, I explore the beauty of the natural world and living beings, conveying atmosphere, emotion, and stillness. In urban and contemporary scenes, I turn to human creations—architecture, technology, and movement—as expressions of energy and ambition.

Working with oil and acrylic paints, I combine classical techniques with a contemporary visual language, focusing on color, texture, and emotional depth. Each painting is an attempt to merge these worlds and transform them into a visual experience.

My goal is not only to depict an object but also to create a feeling—something that resonates beyond the image itself.

I study at the Lviv National University of Environmental Management.
