Jazz music can take every kind of music and to change it so we know where we come and we don't know where will go

Born and raised in Moscow, OLGA TSARKOVA completed her degree at the National School of Art “Surikov”. She left Russia for Italy to continue her studies at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, graduating with distinction in 2000.
MASSIMO CHIOCCIA was born in Sugano, a tiny village in the countryside outside of Orvieto, Italy. He graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Viterbo in 1998.
Fate intervened and the two met in Viterbo in 1996. Today, they paint with two brushes on one canvas to create paintings of vibrant beauty brilliant color, kinetic energy and movement. Internationally acclaimed for their Jazz subjects, their work has been exhibited at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam (2013), Umbria Jazz Winter in Orvieto, Italy (since 2005, including a special project in 2013 commemorating the 40th anniversary of Umbria Jazz in Perugia) and Casa dei Jazz in Roma (2011 and 2012). Their work is on permanent display at world famous Birdland, “The Jazz Corner of the World”, in New York City. In 2014, one of their works was chosen for the cover of a book celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Newport Jazz Festival, in 2017 made a poster for the 25th Charlie Parker Jazz festival in New York
