My work reflects multicultural and multimedia experiences. Originally I'm from Belarus, now living in St. Petersburg, Fl. My life on two continents left me with a feeling of being on the edges of both cultures, synthesizing old and new reality. Sometimes my depicted stories are representational, sometimes are illogical, a juxtaposition with no correlation to details. Pear-doomed church towers, river Dwina, Dali's museum and streets of Vitebsk where Chagall walked are dreamscapes embedded in my soul.
Since I was an adolescent I was preoccupied with faith and human existence. Faith is the most important influence in my artwork. Prayer stimulates dreamlike visions where primitive meets divine. My oeuvre has iconographic sources and metaphorical characters. The connectives of images are suppressed and free to interpretation.
I'm a former student of USF in Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Studio arts
