Stephen Wessells

I am a self-taught painter with a modest studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The process of painting taps into my deepest thoughts and memories - wonderful therapy for modern life. I began painting in high school in the late 70's and have recently picked up the pace creating art. I find it extremely gratifying to bring life to dull walls through design and color.

I had the great privilege of attending public school in Palo Alto, California and college at the University of California. I have a masters degree in communications from the Stanford University, Documentary Film and Television Program. My parents' enthusiasm for art and creating things has made my painting feel natural and a joy. My incredible wife Sara and our two adult children, Alli and Jack have been a vital captive audience in my journey as an artist.

First exhibition ever for me. Shared with fellow Saatchi artist Rocky Asbury on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10:00AM to 6:00PM at Art2Art Gallery in Tivoli Village, Summerlin, West Las Vegas.
