Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, moved to USA, Florida in 1999 where she graduated in film production, Art History and Arts & Humanities. There, she met a Portuguese chef and moved to Portugal in 2006 and now they have 3 kids. In 2013, she opened a raw food restaurant; La Contessa - Carpaccio House, in Cascais and in parallel, she started the journey of food Photography and Styling.
"I decided to dedicate my studies to food photography and food styling because culinary is the only eatable art. Knowing that there is so much work and love put into the plate, the only way to keep this art forever, is to mix this incredible world of gastronomy & photography"
Lately she has been working as a Food Photographer and Styling for Michelin star chefs from Portugal, cookbooks and magazines like Time Out, Activa, Executive Digest and International Food Photography Award for Foodelia
In 2019 Alessandra started a new photography collection. It involves nature and photo meditation. Bringing out a sense of peace, tranquility, serenity to her art.
