Tanya Zhelyazkova

I am based on the Black sea coast of Bulgaria. A place rich of history since time immemorial. Not to mention that in these lands one can see the world's oldest processed gold - the almost 7,000-year-old Varna Gold Treasure from the Chalcolithic Necropolis in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna. Living in the vicinity and among places such as Sozopol - known as Antheia (Ancient Greek: Άνθεια); Nesebar - Greek as Mesembria (Greek: Μεσήμβρια); Pomorie - Ancient Greeks under the name Anchialos (Ancient Greek: Ἀγχίαλος); Varna - historically known as Odessos (Ancient Greek: Ὀδησσός); Burgas - "Pyrgos" (Greek: Πύργος), made me more observant and appreciative of ancient and modern architecture.

And although Bulgaria is famous for it's diverse and unique nature and culture, I always had an open mind for traveling and broadening my horizons. Love reading and watching art documentaries, learning about other traditions and cultures. Particularly I am much fascinated by Mediterranean landscapes, historical places and medieval architecture.
