AMIT ARI- is a group of two artists united by one vision of art.
Timofey Stroganov and Iryna Melnichenko grew up in the same apartment block, but 35 years apart. When they met each other in 2013 they recognized each other as soulmates. Over a period several years, their similar views on cinema, books, psychology and artistic integrity brought them closer together until they were determined to create something independent, something that stands apart from current styles and temporal trends.
We often draw one and the same work at the same time. The reason is that we see one scene from the same viewpoint. But the mystery of the process lies in the unconscious.
Timofey Stroganov was born March 27, 1962, in Dnipro, Ukraine. Timofey attended art school by Stanislav Cherevko, where compering to other studios of that time he could express himself.
Iryna Melnichenko was born September 13, 1997, in Dnipro, Ukraine. Iryna graduated from Dnipro Theatre-Art College in 2017.
