Paula Busch is a Bay Area native now residing in Chico, California. She has been creating art for over 45 years and has exhibited both regionally and nationally. She has been a studio art instructor at Butte College for 27 years. For the past 12 years Paula has been working in the Encaustic medium, a process using hot wax, resin and pigments. She finds it mirrors many of the techniques she used in printmaking.
Her work is in the collection of The Encaustic Art Institute in Santa Fe, NM. The Turner Print Museum, Museum of Northern California Art, Odyssey Winery and North State Radiology in Chico, California, Renown Health in Reno, NV, Kaiser Permanete in Sacramento, and Ruths Chris in Del Mar as well as many private collectors.
