Oleksii Salmanov

I am the winner of Pinchuk Art Centre Special Prize 2009 for the young Ukrainian artists.
I began my career of artist in 2008 as a photographer.
I work with various media, including photograph, video, objects and installations, site-specific and street art, public art, performative practices also. I am participant of exhibitions, residencies and other projects in Ukraine and abroad. Live and work in Kyiv and Odesa, Ukraine.

In the 1998 I graduated law faculty of the International Solomon University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
I have сompleted an internship at Olafur Eliasson's studio in Berlin in 2010 under the aegis of Pinchuk Art Centre Special Prize 2009.
