Robert Baker

Robert Riddle Baker is how I sign my artwork! My name honors both my mother and father. Born in 1944, New Richmond, Ohio, near Cincinnati.

From a teen forward, painting and drawing, night classes in the 1960's at University of Cincinnati under the guidance of Robert Fabe, instructor. Night classes during the late 1960's at San Antonio College while serving in the Army. Primarily self-taught.

Around Cocoa Beach and the surrounding area of Florida in the late 1960's. I owned and operated an art gallery there, The Hungry Pelican Art Gallery where I featured my own artwork plus local area artist. I am currently represented at the Artful Gathering and River Village Antiques in New Richmond, Ohio, Railroad Station Antiques and Interiors in Huntsville, Al, Carlisle Art Gallery, also in Huntsville.
