Paolo Mori

I’m a self taught painter very passionate and professional.
I have been painting since over 30 years but I started to be full time artist not long ago.
My favorite techniques are oil painting and watercolors but even drawing on plywood with pencil and charcoal.
I like to use professional painting materials in order to ensure high quality finish product.
I like mountain landscapes especially of the center of Italy belonging to Appennini chain.
These places together with local traditions, culture and religion, beside my interest to science and technology (I’m an engineer), inspire me my paintings.
I design my paintings starting from photos and sketches modifying and adjusting the image until I reach the final result which satisfy me.
Anyway I consider myself as a realistic painter even if often the overall atmosphere looks to be metaphysical.

Graduated in Transport Engineering in 1997 at the University La Sapienza - Rome
