I am a visual artist trained as a sculptor, but my deepest connection lies in painting,
especially watercolor. I work with watercolor, acrylic, and oil, using each medium to express
emotion, movement, and the rhythm of human experience.
My education in the Sculpture Department at the University of Dhaka has shaped my
strong sense of form, structure, and material. Even when I paint, I think like a sculptor
building layers, balancing space, and allowing forms to emerge naturally.
My practice blends abstraction with expressive mark-making, guided by color, texture, and
spontaneity. Watercolor, in particular, allows me to work intuitively and emotionally,
embracing its fluidity and unpredictability. Through both painting and sculptural work, I
explore inner feelings, memories, and human stories, creating artworks that invite
emotional connection rather than passive observation.
