Carin was born in the west coast of Mexico and raised with European and traditional Mexican values. She spent her youth in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the land of tequila and mariachi music. She traveled to europe at a young age to be trained at the Académie royale de Beaux-arts de Bruxxelles in Bruseels by master Pierre Delieu. After returning home she studied architecture while continuing to train with various Mexican artists, including Iñaqui Beorlegui, Jose Fors and Consuelo Velazquez.
As an artist Carine seeks to capture the deepest feelings of love and the meaning of human passions that have been part of humanity since the inception of time. She only uses high quality oil and acrylics which she combines with sand and charcoal for a higher quality finish.
Carine’s work has been purchased by art collectors in Mexico, Belgium, Spain, and the US. When she is not painting Carine likes to teach students of all ages about art.
