A Gathangelo

Art has always been my passion and always will be.

I fell in love with drawing and painting from the very first moment I could hold a pencil.

Growing up I wanted to become a lawyer, but I knew that my heart belonged to art - and I had to listen to my heart.

I therefore studied Fine Art in Manchester School of Art, then did a two-year Masters degree in the same field in Central Saint Martins, London.

I strongly believe that art is the most profound type of power and that more than anything else, it can change this world - for better or worse.

Since then I have participated in various group exhibitions and held a big solo exhibition in 2018 in Cyprus,with more than 900 visitors in just one day (a huge event compared to the size of my island!).

I am mostly known for my door series paintings, an ongoing project that I ADORE and people seem to love. I am fascinated by all the hidden stories behind these everyday yet extraordinarily beautiful objects as well as all the abstract art they create with the passage of time.

I am currently working in a Private School in Limassol and plan to become a full time artist soon.
