Matthew Dale Janson

b.1982; Matthew grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota. Until the age of 22, he belonged to a small religious community, an experience that would go on to underpin his philosophy for life and art. The studio became his ‘new church’ where uncertainty is embraced, risk is essential, and discovery guides his practice.
