Alissa Van Atta

Alissa Van Atta is a mixed media artist whose work explores femininity, nostalgia, and the cultural construction of the female image. Through layered resin, collage, painting, and found imagery, she examines the tension between attraction, performance, objectification, and power.

Influenced by advertising, art history, and mass media, her work investigates how female identity is shaped through repetition, memory, and visual culture. Resin surfaces and fragmented imagery create a shifting space between seduction and discomfort, visibility and distortion.
