I’m drawn to quiet moments in nature — the changing light over a fjord, the delicate shape of a flower, or the soft flow of color in the landscape. I paint to capture atmosphere and mood, focusing on how light, color, and transparency shape a place or a moment.
Watercolor allows me to explore transparency, layering, and the movement of pigment. I often combine realistic elements with abstract shapes or textures to create depth and emotion, letting chance and spontaneity play a role in the final image.
Whether I’m painting a mountain lake, a subtle bloom, or an abstract color study, I aim to capture the mood and essence of a place or moment. My work is about light, color, and atmosphere — and the quiet beauty that can be found in simple forms.
