I feel each painting I create is the sum of where I have been and what I have experienced in this restless human landscape. I am an expert people watcher and crowd scenes allow me the opportunity to explore the engulfing sea of humanity. I have found that the natural ebb and flow of the crowds lends itself to presenting the dichotomies and contradictions in contemporary society. In combining drawing, painting and sculpture to create these scenes, I hope to achieve a sense of isolation among the masses and to impose the same feelings upon the viewer that a real crowd might.
