Maja Gijevski

I'm Maja, I was raised between Slovenia, Switzerland and Croatia, currently living between Canary Islands and Split. I will define myself as a fine art photographer specialized in portrait photography, also experienced in editing and post-production. I created many photos with architecture and sea as main subject also.
I like skillful artists that turn each photograph into a piece of art.

I'm very passionate about my job, but I'm also a world traveler, who loves science, technology, design and classical music. Confident, always learning and sometimes relaxing playing chess or sailing.

I was a member of the Executive Board of the Photoclub Split, and also a member of Croatian Press Photographers Association.

Being member of Croatian Press Photographers Association and working for years as a photojournalist kept realistic and documentary storytelling approach while capturing, although I like surrealistic approach when talking about photographs for exhibitions.

I participate in many regional and nationally juried EXHIBITIONS, usually taking first awards.
