Marie-Liesse Bertre

Born in 1970, in a painter family (Flandrin), I live and work in France in La vallée du Loir and paint since childhood. I live in the middle of nature and within a musical and theatrical atmosphere that never stop to inspire me. I’m trying to transcribe my surrounding’s beauty. This is the natural instinct of the colors which leads me with my creative sensitivity on multiple canvas. Graduated in interior architecture, my journey progresses between decoration, illustration and painting.
I try to keep the freedom of the gesture, and keep only the essential: il like to work with the matter and pigments on the canvas and only suggest a theme to extract the emotion.
