Himalay Boruah

Freelance multidisciplinary artist from India.His Art practice explores themes of identity, home, memory, and cultural continuity. Rooted in the social, cultural, and ecological landscape of Assam,India.His work draws from indigenous traditions, local histories, and everyday experiences. Working primarily through sculpture and experimental forms, he investigates the relationship between body, space, and environment.

His recent works focus on displacement and the fragile idea of home, reflecting on shifting structures, unstable belonging, and environmental transformation. Through fragmented bodies and architectural forms, the works suggest how rapid development slowly affects nature like a persistent disease, making the idea of shelter and belonging increasingly temporary and contested.
