César Martínez Varela

César Martínez Varela studied at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Seville. He later completed his Art and Design Baccalaureate at the Pablo Picasso Institute, entering the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville the following year, where he graduated with a degree in Sculpture in 2001. In his studio, he develops his visual and conceptual work, based on his experiences, knowledge of his surroundings, and research and experimentation, reflected in his three-dimensional, two-dimensional, and digital artworks.
He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain, displaying his work in various spaces, both physical and virtual (galleries, museums, art centers, social media).
He teaches Sculpture at the Higher School of Visual Arts and Design in Andalusia, Spain.
