Filipa Eyzaguirre Valenzuela was born in Santiago, Chile on March 20, 1987.
In December 2010 she graduates with a Bachelor Degree in Art, from the Pontificiate Catholic University of Chile, since then she has devoted herself to the painting and the textile sculpture, taking part in group and individual exhibitions. Also she has taken part educational functions in the public and private area such as workshops of felt and drawing. In 2010, she participates as a resident in the Center of Cusco's traditional Textiles, Peru, together with inheritors of the Incaicas's tradition textiles. By 2011 she returned to Santiago to develop her work in painting, combining half a day to a workshop of the restorer and painter Francisco Gonzalez Lineros and Benedictine workplace together with other artists. From 2008 to 2012, she developed educational functions in artistic expressions in María Ayuda, a Foundation Center for girls. She now resides in Toronto, Canda, where she is employed at the Research and Development of Artistic projects in painting and sculpture.
