"I love fashion as architecture, movies as reference and books as confidantes."
Illustrator, photographer, painter, designer; it seems that every medium is a paintbrush for the internationally celebrated designer Sergio Baradat, and the world is his canvas. Whether he is illustrating book or magazine covers, designing corporate identities, photographing architectural wonders in Havana and Paris, or turning his paintings into china patterns, home designs and couture, Sergio is always on the cutting edge of creativity and totally involved with the process.
His work is represented in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian's Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design in New York, the Postal Museum in Washington D.C., the Cuban Heritage Collection at the University of Miami, as well as many private collections.
