I lived in Ireland for two years (2007-2009), where I started to work more seriously in the arts, although I have been creating a lot since childhood. I had my first exhibition abroad in Galway at the then Bold Art Gallery, run by Hazel Hendy. As well as my work, I was doing street art there. At that time I painted mostly features, buildings and landscapes of the city and country. I participated in the local Galway Arts Festival. I took art courses at NUIGalway University. Later, I lived at Schloss Solitude near Stuttgart for six months, where I did a lot of plein air painting. After returning home after the birth of my eldest daughter, I started at Metropolitan University (METU) in 2015. I graduated in 2019 with a BA in Graphic Design. I am currently working on my MA.
About my current work:
A kind of eclectic equilibrium is the purpose of the birth of an image, as past meets present and future, as in a diary. I explore the relationship between man and objects. I think it is very important to find the roots, they are present in all my paintings on some level. I try to create a balance where the most important thing is to accept or strive for imperfection.
