Chris Furby: Artist, curator, filmmaker, and photographer.
Educated at Camberwell School of Art, London. BA 3D Design. Worked in Community Art at the Great Georges Community Cultural Project in Liverpool for two years. I had my first experiences of using video there. Worked as an assistant to a sculptor. Then as a graphic designer at the fringes of the music industry producing many designs as the Art Koop with Chris Kennedy at Better Badges - we were hardly paid at the time but this work has now become collectible. Then as a contributor of satirical and weirdly humorous photomontage to various magazines. Commissioned by Channel 4 TV to make video pilot in its early years.
Since 2002 have concentrated on the production of short and feature digital films. Chris Furby: Artist, curator, filmmaker, and photographer.
My work has been shown in many film festivals and art venues around the world.
Lives in London.
