David Webr

David Webr (1970) born in Prague, grew up in the family of artist Jaroslava Šetelíková, the granddaughter of the important czech painter Jaroslav Šetelík, surrounded by art and music. He has been involved in photography since he was young. After he finished his study at School of applied arts he worked at The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. After study of restoration at the Václav Hollar Art School he was engaged in furniture restoration. He has be freelancer since 1994. In photography he focused on documentary and reportage at first, later he moved to concert photography, he is engaged in it so far. He has a long-term collaboration with czech music websites and magazines. In his photographs he tries to capture an emotions of musicians, the mood and the colors of music, movement and atmosphere in artistic way.
David Webr's photographs can be found in private collections across Europe and America.
