Two children, one wife, and a whole lot of strange ideas...

My name is Dillon Chandler and for the past five years I have been learning the art form of sculpting.. I have worked with various mediums, but my favorite is steel. I love its strength, beauty, and forgiveness in forming.. If I don't like the way something turns out, its not a problem, I just throw in some new welds and a few well placed grinds and the crisis is averted. I guess I am chasing the dream of becoming a full time artist while keeping a roof over my head and food on the table. So far I still have a day job, but perhaps I can change that. Thank you.

No lies here, I did the bare minimum to stumble through my education. I spent most of my days in school endeavoring to fit in, rather than attempting to further my studies. After High school I dabbled in a series of college and vocational courses, in which my wallet was quite in tune, but my heart was not. After those disasters I found that civil service could be an enticing career path. I spent several years volunteering a and taking various courses to prepare myself for my new life as a would be hero in our local fire department. However I was heartbroken to find little fulfillment and a great deal of bureaucracy in my new career path. So like many others I took my chances and entered the work force having no idea where to apply myself. Don't get me wrong, an imbecile I am not, but its obvious that I won't be getting any offers to instruct at MIT either.
