Ileana Mihaescu

Born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1974, Ileana Mihăescu is a Romanian-born multidisciplinary artist based in Turin, Italy. She graduated in Fashion Design from the National University of Arts in Bucharest in 1998, in the class of Professor Dr. Unda Popp. She has established herself as a complex artist in fiber art and performance costume, director and set designer and is highly active as a classically trained soprano and world music performer.
