Artist Raven

RAven grew up drawing and painting her “little masterpieces” for sale to my auntie’s trusted friend and classmate who welcomed her creativity and rewarded her handsomely for each piece. At the time RAven did not know that he, 'Roger Alleyne' was a cultural icon and sculptor within the Visual Arts Community in her home town; she was five. Now, looking back Alleyne was molding RAven enticing her to become the creative individual she is today. As a teenager there wasn’t a piece of textile RAven didn’t leave her mark on, with her messages of truth and thrusts of romanticism she would delve deep into fashion design, pattern and textile composition and block printing. But as time passed on her pursuits lead her into the sobering world of accredited lifestyle choices and career objectives.
Born into a family of tailors, seamstresses, creative designers and artists in the capital city of Trinidad it appears creative expression was her birthright.
Her passion has always lead her to stay connected in the way of artistry so her pursuit of architectural design to become the lead interior designer at Simply Exquisite Interiors was no surprise a portfolio shared with her spouse and business partner.
