About Veaceslav Jiglitski

Veaceslav Jiglitski was born in USSR in 1970. Started exhibiting his work in 1993. Veaceslav Jiglitski creates
mainly postmodernist sculptures of small sizes. He is one of the most influential sculptors
at the moment in Moldova. His art is displayed at local museums, cultural halls. His
sculptures were given as presents to the presidents of 18 countries, including Vladimir
Putin, Dmitry Medvedev, Aleksandr Lukashenko, Nicolas Sarkozy, Redjepu Erdoganu,
Xí Jìnpíng and others. Also, his sculptures are in private collections of Arab Emirate
prices, politicians, artists and collectors. (Eugen Doga, Ion Druta, Ghenadie Hazanov,
Kira Muratova, Yuri Galitzev, Roman Vituc, Oleg Basilashvili).


Graduated from University of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, with a degree in Art and Design, in Chișinău, Moldova in 1995
