Lila Baral

I am a self taught artist and rediscovered myself a couple of yeas back when I joined MyArtSpace to paint as a hobby. Under the tutelage and guidance of Chankerk Teh, I found my calling in the abstract impressionism world of art. I see beauty in the most mundane every day lives of the local folks. I get my inspiration from the elderly in Singapore , going about their daily lives, very friendly, always with a smile, active and fit and in general embracing life as it should be, in its purest form. My art expresses my appreciation for their generation.
I also painted Nepal, since its my home country by marriage. The Bouddha, an iconic site and the vibrant street of Thamel, in a similar abstract style.
