Yevheniia Yakovleva

I was born in Kiev. As a child, she studied at an art school, but never finished it. My childhood dream was to become an artist, and I asked to hang all my drawings on the walls of our apartment, but my parents were against it, saying that I wasn’t good enough at drawing.

I entered an architecture college, after which I wanted to go to an art academy, but they dissuaded me, saying that an artist is not a profession. So I graduated from the University of Architecture at the Faculty of Urban Planning. I worked for 3 months in a large architectural firm, completed an internship and left, realized that this was not mine at all.

Now I am a freelance artist, doing what I love, creating. She took part in an exhibition at the House of Artists in Kiev.
