Ursuleanu Costel

I was born in Romania and I have painted since I was very young. I have always been in love with classic painting, I started painting when I was a child, since I saw a little cousine of mine that made amazing sketches. She drew waterfalls, trees, some birds that fly far far away, a wooden fence, and so on. I was really fascinated by the way she used her pencils, so I started to draw some pictures on my own. One day we discovered that my drawings were far better than hers, therefore I never stopped drawing. I learnt as a self-taught person during the hard Ceausescu times and after a while I got my diploma. Later on I moved to Italy in 2000 where I worked for an Art gallery and after some years I began to work as a freelance. Now I live in Parma and I paint on demand. I do copies as well as original paintings, I also paint Byzantine and Hortodox icons, I use pencils, tempera, acrylic and oil paints, too.
