Tommi Selander is a Helsinki-based visual artist whose work examines contemporary consumer culture, technology, and everyday rituals. Drawing from a background in design and photography, his practice focuses on minimal compositions, subtle humor, and the quiet tension between commercial aesthetics and lived reality.
Selander’s work often isolates familiar objects and moments, reframing them as symbols of modern behavior and collective habits. Moving between photography and digital art, his practice explores how meaning is constructed, repeated, and aestheticized in contemporary culture.
