Giovanni Siano

Giovanni Siano was born in Italy. At present lives in Malaysia. He is currently running an engineering business, and absolutely enjoys being a businessman by day and an artist by twilight.
Having painted since teenager time using different mediums such as acrylics and oils, is recently concentrating in abstracting realism as no longer satisfied with the pure realistic representation.
As part of Hong Kong's art group Artmatch has participated to a number of group exhibitions with one solo exhibition in Hong Kong in 2001 opened on the very same 9-11 day. Joined annual group exhibition in Hong Kong and lately in Taiwan, starting from 2001 up today.

Giovanni Siano studied construction management and architectures in Italy. Attended an industrial design course in Italy and a pottery course in Hong Kong.
Self-taught and painting since teenager.
In 1997 participated to a visual awareness course hold by an Hong Kong Artist who gave him very good guidance, hence forming the basis for his actual art knowledge.
