Mohita Garg

I am a self-taught contemporary artist based in India, working across watercolor, acrylic, mixed media and textured techniques. My work explores colour, place, human connection and the small moments that make a scene feel memorable.

With a background in fashion styling and a professional career in visual storytelling, I approach painting with a strong sensitivity to composition, colour and atmosphere. I am drawn to architecture, travel, people, nature and everyday encounters, often translating them into expressive works that balance recognisable imagery with a contemporary, painterly approach.

I work intuitively across mediums, allowing the character of each subject to determine the technique, from fluid watercolor and layered washes to expressive acrylic and tactile mixed-media surfaces.

Graduate in Fashion Styling. My formal training is in visual styling and composition rather than fine art; I am a self-taught artist.
