Filip Gherghisan

I have been painting for 25 years and I try to reproduce states and emotions that I see or feel, through painting. I think that the human face and body communicate nonverbally in a fascinating way, that's why my art is mostly figurative. I also believe in the power of simple colour combinations, which highlight the strong but also mysterious nature of any of us. My art is inspired by photography, pop art or expressionism.
