EDUCATION
I am Grecu Ionut, a contemporary visual artist working across mixed media, acrylic painting and digital art.
My artistic practice explores the relationship between imagination, symbolism, emotion and visual expression. Drawing inspiration from surrealism, classical art, sculptural forms and dramatic visual atmospheres, I create works that bring together traditional artistic influences and contemporary visual experimentation.
My creative process moves between physical materials and digital technologies, allowing me to explore different textures, dimensions and ways of communicating ideas.
I am particularly interested in contrasts: between reality and imagination, fragility and strength, the classical and the contemporary. Through each work, I seek to create visual experiences that invite reflection and reveal meaning beyond the immediate image.
My aim is to develop an independent artistic language that combines expressive depth, distinctive aesthetics and contemporary sensibility.
My artistic education has developed through years of personal dedication, independent study and continuous creative exploration.
As a self-taught artist, I have built my experience through hands-on practice, experimenting with different artistic techniques, materials and visual languages.
My journey includes physical painting, charcoal drawing and exploration of different artistic styles, allowing me to develop a broad understanding of composition, form, texture, light and visual expression.
Over the years, my practice has evolved through observation, experimentation and a constant desire to refine my artistic language. I continue to explore new creative approaches, combining traditional artistic foundations with contemporary techniques and digital technologies.
For me, artistic development is an ongoing process driven by curiosity, discipline and the freedom to experiment.
