Askhim, a multi-media artist from Portobello, West London, combines formal training with a self-taught passion for pushing artistic boundaries. Though he refined his craft by studying photography at the renowned St. Martins College, his education in art began long before, driven by an insatiable curiosity and an instinctive approach to creativity. Askhim taught himself to work across diverse mediums, exploring the interplay of light and shadow, mood and contrast, to evoke deep emotional resonance in his work.

Inspired by the duality of light and dark, his pieces reflect a fascination with balance—between clarity and mystery, nature and science, history and modernity. This duality fuels his most celebrated works, such as the Father Figures collection, which pays tribute to inspiring leaders, and the Fibonacci Collection, which explores the profound beauty of patterns found in the natural world.
