Gulnar Buralkhiyeva

My inspiration to create is the love for the nature. Since I was a child I appreciated the beauty of the surroundings of the nomadic land I came from. I love all four seasons. But since I moved to the sunny California, I felt as I was reborn. I found the second wind and the new way to express myself. I fall in love with this beautiful country, the people with their warm smiles, delicious food, ocean, wide beaches, palms and mountains. All of the listed drives my energy, motivates and inspires me. I started to paint in order to transfer all of my positive thoughts into the canvas.
I like to start my paintings with the palette knife, then overlay strokes, and just afterwords I proceed to the brushes. Each painting of mine, I draw with love and all of this process brings the joy to my soul.
As Robert Genn once said: “Art is a form of love. Art is the ultimate gift. Art heals life.”
Art is for the free self-expression and it makes me happier.
