Aleks Shevchenko

I am a contemporary painter working primarily in oil on canvas. My practice is focused on landscapes and figurative painting, exploring atmosphere, light, color and the emotional relationship between people and the natural world.
I am interested in the expressive potential of oil paint and the physical character of the painted surface. I combine observational realism with atmospheric color, expressive brushwork and carefully constructed forms, creating works that are both recognizable and emotionally open.
My paintings explore quiet moments, changing light, memory, human presence and the subtle beauty of everyday places. Whether I am painting a landscape or a figure, I am interested in creating an atmosphere that allows the viewer to enter the scene and discover their own story within it.
I create my original paintings at DNIPRO ART STUDIO, my personal studio dedicated to painting and creative practice.
